Awkward Silence are back with another of those cute 3" CDs. This one is a split by Manual and Orange Crush where Manual does 2 songs, Orange Crush throw us a tune and there's a collaboration featuring both of them doing it together (really hard). The opener by Manual is really smooth sounding shoegazey electronica which I can see the BBC nabbing for it's travel programmes. There's deffo bits of Boards of Canada in there (Campfire Headphase era)... It's well Morr Music. In fact the whole EP folows suits with 4 tracks of lush melodic electronica with an indie ish approach. Some may say Indietronica.... All the tunes are strong though so if you're still into this sort of gear you'll probably shit your leg off with excitement at this funner.Manual: 'Miraparque'
