Miles Davis - Kind Of Blue 50th anniversary box set

Kind of blue is well documented as being the standard to which others are judged against and so I'll not labour that point.  What I will say though is that this collection is indeed a top class purchase. I recieved it as a gift and can only say that it IS WELL WORTH the money. The album - as I said above the standard. But the other articles in the collection REALLY do make this gift. The book which covers the making of the album is full of info and photos. There is a small collection of decent size photos(8x10") that would grace any collage or wall mounted presentation. The LP cover and the blue vinyl are just superb! I won't be playing the LP myself but for posterity - knockout. I showed it to several friendswho were all equally as impressed with it as I was. So go on, buy a little piece of history - you won't be disappointed.
