Whoopie doo! Lucky me getting to review the new Bloc Party album 'Intimacy'. This comes available as specially packaged CD/ LP and LP picture disc. The beats on the first tune aren't that bad... Brian just asked "Am I the only one that finds his accent irritating?" He's not alone. It's almost like it's being exaggerated at times. There's some energy there I'll give them that but then the dull bits are making me yawn. They're trying new things and trying to push their sound forward but this really does little in the way of entertaining me. Not like dogs in hats and smoking monkeys. Oh and what about Mr Ed? Gotta love that talking horse.The album includes the singles 'Talons' and 'Mercury' and will be released on the 27th October 2008.
The album will be available on CD, Vinyl, Picture Disc and Ltd Edition Gatefold CD which includes the bonus songs 'Letter To My Son' & 'Your Visits Are Getting Shorter'.
