The Long Blondes - Singles

Singles by The Long Blondes

The Long Blondes are no more we think. Here's Angular picking up the pieces with an ace singles retrospective cunningly titled 'Singles'. We've reviewed all of their singles before so ned to do do a full review on this but this is more a letting you know of it's existence. 12 tracks which I don't think have ever been out on CD before so now you can log all your early 7"'s and buy a small chalet somewhere and retire. I'd love a nice chalet. Some cracking pop tunes on hre which I never really got at the time but listening to the whole thing it makes perfect pop sense and if you want to catch up on one of the better indie bands of the last few years then this is an excellent place to start.

This album features their first four singles plus two bonus tracks, and captures the energy and excitement of The Long Blondes at their best.
The CD features a brand new painting by singer Kate Jackson especially for this release, and a poster sleeve designed by The PIX magazine features rare early pictures, interviews and sleeve notes by the band.
The original single versions for tracks such as ‘Giddy Stratospheres’ and ‘Lust In The Movies’ which gained the Long Blonde’s their reputation as disco floor-fillers are available here for the first time on CD.
This album is a must to complete the collection for any Long Blondes fan.
