Speaking of shattered minds you'd do well to pick up one of the Daniel Johnston reissues we got in this week. There's 3 to choose from. The new one is a double pack of 1990 and Artistic Vice (2 fantastic albums.... especially the former which is one of my favourite albums ever.... if ever there was a show of someone in a dark place then this is it.... deeply troubled but some amazing songwriting on there). Both have been out of print for years and fetch a small fortune on ebay. Now available at a reasonable price.... Also there's Yip Jump Music and Hi, How Are You which are both his earlier works (musical doodles) which after a few listens you'll realize he's a cocking genius. I'm a massive fan so I was delighted to get all of these! Those last 2 come with download cards as well so you can download the albums onto your spazpod. Smashing.... I heartily recommend 'em all!!
