Basically this single called 'Wendy' its uber commercial pop music where the Byrds-Big Star-Teenage Fanclub lineage of song structure is hijacked by Mike Batt. Thers something so old fashioned about this - they'll probably like it in the working mens clubs at closing time after some Bay City Rollers classics. The B-sides are intolerable.There's also remixes by Scottish legends The Vaselines (what would Kurt have said?), Camera Obscura and...... er...the Fratellis. Lets just hope they got handsomely paid. Next.....................................Released on CD and 7”, the single also features the b-sides Shiver The Trees & Summer Girlfriend alongside remixes of Wendy by The Fratellis, Camera Obscura The Vaselines.
