Issue #6 of Sheffield Phonographic Corporation's zine Thee Humbug has landed in our laps and if you like your Sheffield indie then it's a bit of a treat. It features interviews and features on The Long Blondes, Laura Groves, The Grammatics, The Indie Tracks festival, MJ Hibbett, Champion Kickboxer and a whole load of Northern pie and peas eating, flat cap wearing guitar twangers and their whippets. It's only got a bloody good CDr with it an all with tracks from Champion Kickboxer, The Bon Bon Club, Grammatics, Something Like Fire, Laura Groves, The Rocky Nest and more... While I'm talking about Sheffield I'd like to show my grief for their own twin towers that were destroyed recently. Those cooling towers were the gateway to the industrial north and now they've been blown up. Bastards.Interviews with The Voluntary Butler Scheme, The Bon Bon Club, Grammatics, MJ Hibbett, Downdime, The Rocky Nest, Calf By Calf, Champion Kickboxer, Something Like Fire, Louis Romegoux and Laura Groves.
Articles on Indietracks, part 5 of Diamonds In The Mine, cartoons and the shocking truth about Victorian cosmetic surgery!
