I need to eat more greens as I struggled putting this Theredsunband 7" onto the platter such is the extreme quality of the heavyweight vinyl. 'The Eagle' is a catchy dreamy guitar indie pop tune from two talented Australian honeys. Well they could be total munters for all I know but they do sound incredibly sexy on this here sultry track. I realize this probably all sounds extremely shallow so I'll elaborate.... Phil is reminded of Lush... This is probably the most useless review I think I've ever written which is a shame cos this is actually a decent single.Limited 7" (250 only for sale) fro mthis hot sydney threepiece. Bursting on to the music scene with a fuzzed out guitar sound, the simplicity of a three piece format and the haunting vocals of Sarah Kelly. Distorto dream pop, akin to Mazzy Star, The Shins, etc, ask for a CDR...Sisters Sarah & Lizzie Kelly form the core of the band and record with the addition of a boy drummer / vocalist. www.myspace.com/theredsunband
