The Raconteurs are back with yet another limited edition 7" that makes me think of some drinking scene in a bar in a bad TV movie. Brian says that 'Many Shades Of' Black' is "music for people that don't want to hear anything challenging" which is fair enough I suppose. After all music should be entertaining but I find this as much fun as running through the local rottweiler rescue sanctuary naked and smothered in pedigree chum holding strings of prize winning sausages. Adele (she'd probably be after the sausages) makes an appearance on the b-side. Sounding a bit like Amy Winehouse (probably why she got signed).
