•    This two cd set is made up of Dawn Landes’ debut album “Dawn’s Music” which has previously only been available in France, and the bonus disc “Straight Lines”, which contains songs from her limited edition UK only releases on Boy Scout Recordings and her popular cover version of Peter, Bjorn & John’s “Young Folks”. Also included is the single “Straight Lines” which has been featured heavily in recent TV commercials for Axe and Transport For London.
•    Dawn's music comes from the mouth, mind and hands of New York-based singer-songwriter dawn Landes. Reminiscent of the raw traditionalism of Woody Guthrie and the experimental alt-folk lyricism of artists like Joanna Newsome, the Louisville KY native plays a variety of instruments (8-dollar guitars! pink accordions! glockenspiels! options!).
