Sisters of Transistors - The Don

The Don by Sisters of Transistors

TRACKLISTING:
A1. THE DON A2. PENDULUM B1. THE DON (ACID GIRLS SOMETHING ELSE REMIX) B2. THE DON (HOT CHIP REMIX)

OVERVIEW:
‘The Don’ / ’Pendulum’ is the first release of Graham Massey’s latest musical adventure  - The Sisters of Transistors.
Currently featuring on the new Fabric Live as mixed by SMD, and picked by James Ford as his Favourite New Band in a recent NME,  ‘The Don’ sounds like Giorgio Moroder's daughters running rampage with sequins and sequencers it's gothic disco missing the link between Manchester and Rimini.
Born from an eBay addiction to 60s transistor organs ‘The Sisters…’ are an all girl organ quartet specialising in Baroque Disco Prog and Party Horror Soundtracks.
Graham is best known as the musical mind behind 808 State but this  barely scratches the surface of his musical output as a remixer, producer and maverick musician. Based at the South Manchester Museum of Keyboard Technology (S.M.M.O.K.T), The Sisters of Transistors are a Combo Organ Quartet and Ladies Social Club. They hold weekly afternoon workshops at the museum.
S.O.T. play a selection of fully working exhibition organs with an emphasis on the Italian models from the early 1970s and their repertoire includes a mixture of S.O.T originals in the style of Baroque Disco Prog and classics from the golden age of Horror OST.
