This Joan As Police Woman 'Holiday' ltd pic disc 7" is another ltd thingy. She's a talented singer songwriter and you can tell she puts her heart and soul into this dreamy pop tune but I can't really connect with it although I can appreciate it. Just as it starts getting a bit weird it ends. B-side 'No Question' i's a slow piano tune that gets quite punchy at various points. It has a bit of a sleazy jazz feel to it. Brett reckons it's like Cat Power only not as good.‘Holiday’ is the new single to be released from ‘To Survive’, the second album from Joan As Police Woman: Number One in the Independent Album Charts on its release in June, ‘To Survive’ is set to eclipse the brilliant success of Joan’s debut ‘Real Life’ album both critically and commercially.
