class tunes.......class remix album that won`t leave you feeling short changed like most other remix albums do! If you love electronica, ambient pop and shoegaze this is supreme :) I like the isan and library tapes remixes best as they shake up the genre of ambient electronic shoegaze and give it an extra dimention like scott`s recent televise work. Bravo!

Televise have a collection of remixes out by an allstar cast of shoegaze/electronica artists who are all generally responisible for floaty drifty pretty music and are well selected to remix Televise's sounds. Called to duty are Ulrich Schnauss, d_rradio, Library Tapes, Simon Scott, Sebastien Roux, Isan, Praveen, Zegunder, Port Royal, Zegunder, Yellow6 and Mole Harness. You get the picture... Televise is the musical project of Simon Scott who have released three albums and here is a collection of remixes recorded between 2006 and 2008 from all three albums by some of Simon's favourite artists. Some have stuck to the original format and structure of the song whilst others have rebuilt each composition and given it an entirely new identity. Simon Scott drummed for Slowdive on Creation records (“Just for a day” and “Souvlaki”), worked as a session musician in the 1990`s and currently records as Televise and Simon Scott. He is also currently drumming for Klimek (Kompakt/Anticipate/Mille Plateaux) and Epic45, is 50% of Seavault (Morr Music) with Antony Ryan from Isan and runs micro label Kesh Recordings from Cambridge UK where he lives.
