Rock City Sixteen are a 5 piece of enigmatic indie kids who combine a kind of motorik indie with fey keyboards and blurred, nonchalent vocals. It sounds kinda NY '78 influenced with a spot of early Stereolab and is definitely a pretty catchy number although the title 'Lunettes noires pour nuits blanches' gets on my tits because I keep spelling it wrong. Obviously Gainsbourg fanatics, apparently they rose from the ashes of Havana Guns and this is limited to 500 on Cigarette Music.Be the first to review this record.
