Travis are next to blow my virtual mind with their crazy brand of plodding pop with their new single 'Something Anything'. Against all odds (and believe me they were stacked up right against it) I don't mind this. It's much more like the early rocking tunes (i.e more guitarry and louder) than the sensitive plodding slush that makes me want to hurl myself off bridges. Nothing new at all as it's been done a million times before but what music hasn't ben raped and pillaged so you're bored of it all? And at a short 2 minutes and 22 seconds the lead track doesn't outstay it's welcome. So there you go.... that's another Travis song I actually don't mind!Travis return with a guitar pop gem.
