Kale is a split by Arbouretum and Pontiak on Thrill Jockey, a label Frankie Dettori founded after his first skydive. The Arbouretum side didn't last too long, safe to say none of us were, um.. Really in the mood for that one. The Pontiak side fared a bit better, reminding me of a kind of classic rock Pelican or something with that 70s double-tracked vocal thang going on and the occasional Zeppelin mimicking riff. It's not going down a storm but y'know, if you've run out of Ten Years After records to buy for 50p on eBay then go for your bloody life.Be the first to review this record.
