What we say
This record left our Phil feeling happy.
OK those interested in doing the right thing and giving money to charity and wanting to own something a bit good then check this out It's a 15 track experimental mixed genre compilation and the proceeds go to the Homerton Hospital in London where the creator of the comp was being looked after after he had a heart attack at the age of 21. A worthy cause I'm sure you'll agree and with folks like Marissa Nadler, Klimek, Vladislav Delay, John Maus, Angel Deredoorian (Dirty Projectors), Marsen Jules, and lots more you'll see its worth checking out 'n all. You've got some beautiful singer songwriter folk, weird electronics, neo classical gear, some more technoey tracks... some dubby ones... some more ambient ones. Sounds like a hideous sprawling mess but it fits together like a hand in a tailor made diamante glove with gold edging. Lovely. Beaterblocker is out now on CD only....
