Robedoor - Pained Transformation

Pained Transformation by Robedoor

One of a bunch of titles on House Of Alchemy this week is a fab CD from the always interesting and freaky Robedoor. 'Pained Transformation' is like being smothered by a big black quilt while off your face on downers. Really slow and brooding soundscapes, distant vocals and even some parts reminding me of The Skaters but less lo-fi and with some big ass widescreen drones. Probably my favourite thing these guys have done since 'Rancor Keeper'. Recommended.

This disc is both new and old. It features tracks from two long gone cassette releases and one massive new track to burn yr skull. If you missed the Pained Seer or Hopeless Transformation cassettes, now is yr chance to grab those jams plus something new! Heavy yeah.

CD-R edition of 200.
