OK now we can review tapes the whole world has opened up to us. It's like there's now slightly more oxygen in the air than there used to be. Ok they're only cassettes and for the record I still hate video tapes. They're complete wankers. Tapes I can cope with though and I was impressed by the sound reproduction. Amazingly they sound way better than MP3's... go figure technospods. Anyway Ghost In The Water have a tape out called Red Cardinal. This is one of more poppier tracks off the album.... indie electronics with hints of the Postal Service and the girl/ boy vocals on the lead track remind me The Delgados. Decent indie pop though and if you've still got a tape deck kicking about then I reckon this is worth listening to. It could be a bit wet for some people but like Ant I reckon this label has good quality control so what on earth are you waiting for?Taken from the album 'Tooth' this limited cassette single accompanies the release, and includes an exclusive remix of 'Pushpins and Tape'. These are sure to go quickly!
