Kids In Glass Houses - Saturday

Saturday by Kids In Glass Houses

Ltd Edition of 1000 copies only
TRACKLISTING: 1 Saturday (Radio Mix), 2 Town Called Malice,
OVERVIEW: South Wales quintet Kids In Glass Houses release their new single 'Saturday' on August 11th through Roadrunner records. This is the third single from their debut top 30 album Smart Casual. Kids in Glass Houses' music is a heady amalgamation of the rock, punk, metal, hardcore & indie that soundtracked their formative years. This raw energy is fused with a knowing respect and admiration for the hook laden legacies of heavyweight established artists like The Police, Prince, The Cure & Duran Duran, making Kids In Glass Houses' songs both furious and impossibly beguiling. All of this is indisputably evident in the hook laden single 'Saturday'. The track's high energy, singalong mentality was evident on the recent UK Paramore tour, where the band were embraced by a tuneful crowd, seemingly knowing every word. In addition to the lead track 'Saturday', which is mixed by audio-veteran Chris Lord-Alge (Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Simple Plan), the CD is teamed with an exclusive track; the Jam classic "Town Called Malice". The artwork for the single is designed by Kids In Glass Houses' frontman Aled Phillips. The bands last single "Give Me What I Want" received excellent media support including Radio 1 B list and MTV 2 A list and has sold over 15,000 copies to date. As Roadrunners No.1 priority for 2008, and with hooks catchier than the common cold, 'Saturday' looks set to propel Kids In Glass Houses even further into the spotlight. In support of the single the band are playing a slue of festivals including; Download, Reading/Leeds, Board Masters, Itunes Festival & T in the Park. These will be followed by a major autumnal tour. For fans of: Funeral For A Friend, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, & Paramore.
