This record left our Brett feeling happy.

The debut release on Nuts and Seeds is by plucky young upstarts Triple School, packaged in a super-deluxe special ultimate edition in a cool little cardboard box containing a mini lyric book plus instructions for the perfect gin and tonic! That's a lesson that would've come in handy at real school when we were all too busy being taught how to get our heads flushed down toilets. The band themselves are a hi-NRG hardcore two-way between a former Dananananaykroyd man on guitar/ vox and his drumfriend, banging out short, sweet tunes of noisy mintness that's loose and sloppy in a variety of good ways. Kind of stripped-down punk in the way that The White Stripes do stripped-down blues. The singer lady from Plaaydoh joins in the fun on one track too. I saw them live the other week with Brian and they were pretty ace, so get down to see them if they play in your pokey little places. With their DIY ways they're practically paying you to take these CDs home, fancy packaging considered, so you've no excuse!
