Om collectors out there will be trampling over each others bodies to pick up the 'Live At Jerusalem' limited numbered LP on Southern Lord. Recorded at Club Uganda in Jerusalem, we can only assume that this particular recording was chosen for release because of the significance of the city, what with a classic Sleep record being called 'Jerusalem'. The quality of the recording here is fairly poor however it will appeal to fans as the drummer Chris Hakius has sadly split so this is really the only live document of the duo as it was. Chess master Al Cisneros has now been joined with the drummer from Grails so I cant wait to see what they'll sound like... If you're after some heavy stoner rock hypnotic mantras then this LP in heavy duty sleeve may do the trick but you'll have to crank it up loud... I've endured worse sounding bootlegs in the past like.

In December of 2007 the mighty duo that is OM made a pilgrimage to Israel to play for its people. Their pinnacle performance unfolded at 4 Aristobolus Street in Jerusalem the site of Uganda Records.

The band played for over 4 hours on this evening! The tracks: "Flight of the Eagle" and "Bhimas' Theme" were captured and the transmission of these recordings were flown back to the United States where the vinyl lacquers were made by Bob Weston .
