We got a yellow wax split 7"on Chunklet from Dark Meat and Diplo. Dark Meat do a cover of Iggy Pop's 'Success' which has just turned our Brett's smile upside down. Phil has piped up and declared that it sounds like The Polyphonic Spree. They sound like they're having fun getting pissed up and twanging and blowing flutes all over the place There's loads going off and it sounds like mental party. Diplo's 'Unsuccessful Space Dub' on the B-side snatches some elements from the original and strips it right back, adds a mid tempo kick, teeny weeny piano stab and dubby bassline. Not blowing me away this but I'm sure it does the job for him slipping it into one of his mixes.On one side, Dark Meat cover Iggy Pop's classic jam "Success" and, on the other side, Diplo deconstructs it on a track entitled "Unsuccessful Space Jam."
