Agnostic Mountain Gospel Choir - Ten Thousand

Ten Thousand by Agnostic Mountain Gospel Choir

Third album from intense yet entertaining Canadian punk folk blues artists. Roots legend Seasick Steve recently declared them his “new favourite band”. After playing gigs with them, bluesman superstar Seasick Steve gave Agnostic Mountain Gospel Choir his support. BBC Radio DJ Mark Lamarr is also a big fan. The band fit slap bang into the current vogue for roots bands with a punk attitude. Think The White Stripes with added banjo, or Gogol Bordello with a hint of bluegrass.
