Bec and Beth - Bec and Beth EP

Bec and Beth EP by Bec and Beth

4...according to our on Thu 18 Sep, 2008.

The 2 ladies from The Hot Puppies have gone and done their own thing and released a 4 track 7" on Purr Records. Bec and Beth have recorded an EP of 4 singery songwritery songs in the stylings of what I deem as proper music. Pianos and acoustic guitars and vocals.... Very acoustic and different to The Hot Puppies and what you'd normally get on Purr Records. Did I say there are 3 covers on here as well?? You get covers of Burt Bacharach's 'Anyone Who Had A Heart', The Smiths 'Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me' and 'I'm Making Believe' written by Mack Gordon for sold old film or other. Terribly informative I'm sure you'll agree. All heartfelt and proper.... I'm off to have some Rice Krispies now.

As the band approach the release of their debut album, the two ladies from THE HOT PUPPIES set up some mics and have recorded an EP of lost
love and heartache. The EP features a new song alongside 3 covers - Burt Bacharach's 'Anyone Who Had A Heart', The Smith's 'Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me' and 'I'm Making Believe' written by Mack Gordon for the 1944 film 'Sweet And Lowdown'.

TRACK LIST: 1. Anyone Who Had A Heart 2. Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me 3. French Song 4. I'm Making Believe
