Kasms - Taxidermy

Taxidermy by Kasms

4...according to our on Wed 30 Jul, 2008.

Kasms also have something of Siouxsie about them but it's the rawer, more unrestrained (read: more interesting) side with the screeching histrionic vocals and gothy inflections howling around rolling drums and thin, trebly guitar. There's a bit of a less world-y Slits in there and Phil reckons there's a fair bit of Babes in Toyland to them and no-one disagreed so you know if must be true, normally if he's only 5% wrong someone will disagree with him just to see his face go all red and his neck veins pop out. 'Taxidermy' is out on Trouble.

Three new tracks from London’s newest gothic noise hipsters who feature ex-members of Test Icicles and have already been cover stars of PIX magazine.  First 7” release from the band, whose previous self-released CDR sold out in two days.
Kasms perform across London weekly, with festival slots lined up at 1234 and Underage Festival, and a club tour confirmed for week of release.  Band features Rory, ex-of Test Icicles and Rat:Att:Agg.  7” limited to 500 copies.
