Machine Girl - Machine Girl

Machine Girl by Machine Girl

Ain't been treated to a splattering of hardcore breaks in ages. I used to find myself at leaky warehouse raves on freezing January nights with my ears being cleaned out with splintercore acid jungle courtesy of people like Johnny Sideways. Call it gabbercore or drum 'n' headache, whatever you like, Enduser is one of the finest practitioners about. His hectic blend of frantic tangled amens, bent mangled ragga & pummeling bass strides topped with sinister samples shows no sign of abating and on his new Machine Girl collaboration with Line 47, this mash head 'core genius shows us just how to make music for grimy mutant street punks with 18 legs and a head full of cider & glue. Oh yes. 4 tracks of hyper moshtastic ear bruising that sounds like a disharmony in my head, most welcome as there's not been much new in along these lines for quite a while! 12" on Ad Noisam

Re-mastered, re-cut and given a whole record on their own, the four tracks written by Enduser and Line 47 back in 2007 get a second life on Ad Noiseam. Ranging from the most aggressive and noisy breakcore to melodic, syncopated material, the material on this record shows both producers at the top of their form and still is, 5 years after their original release on Sonicterror, a pearl of the breakcore scene.
