In this week are a bunch of CD's from Danish label Sopa. Home of 2 of my favourite things, bacon and porn so I'm already smiling. First up is a band called 9 with their CD called 'Eponymous' which is limited to 300 copies. Doesn't sound like many but when you think that it only takes physical sales of 10 copies to get a number one these days it's positively loads. This is a nice blend of oddball pop and electronics. Some songs are more traditional instrumental based and others are more electronic, some are acoustic so it's all over the shop. I like the fact you don't know what's gonna come next. I enjoyed the majority of this but one or two tracks smell a little of cheese for my liking though I will say it's competently put together and there's definitely some interesting ideas on board. If you're after comparisons then I'm pretty much lost on that one. The description on the press release for this one does as well as I ever could (it mentions Aphex Twin, Ringo Starr, Laurie Anderson and Vito Corleone.)We calculate your shipping costs by taking the heaviest item in your order and calculating that at the 'Heaviest Item' price. Each additional item in your order is then charged at the 'Additional Item' price.
So, because you currently don't have anything in your cart the shipping cost for Eponymous by 9 will be the 'Heaviest Item' price for the format you choose:
| Format | 'Heaviest Item' Price | 'Additional Item' Price |
|---|---|---|
| CD | £1.50 | £0.50 |
