Recommendation (Toddla T remix)

This record left our Ant feeling happy.

I've just banged on the Toddla T remix of Little Dragon and Phil thought it was Various Productions and it's an easy mistake as they use a very similar formula with the post garage/ grime/ dubstep beats and big ass basslines. It's a decent enough tune and when it breaks down to the gritty bassline it's gonna cause some bassbin damage. 'Recommendation' also has an instrumental version on the flip which omits the ragga vocal and the lady singing. A heavy tune which I wasn't really expecting. This is shockingly overpriced for a 7". C'mon Peacefrog £5.49 for a 7" is a bit steep! It doesn't even have a proper sleeve.

With songs picked for soon to be released Hollywood blockbuster ‘Women’ and Norwegian high end chocolate brand Anton Berg’s European advertising campaign it wont be long until Little Dragon become a household name.
In the meantime album track ‘Recommendation’ gets the remix treatment from Toddla T who showcases his unique take on digital dancehall and rudeboy electronics. Recently remixing the likes of  Hot Chip, Tricky, Roisin Murphy and producing half of Roots Manuva’s forthcoming album, Todla T is definitely a boy on the up.
