It makes me sad, that while the Kooks strut around in their carefully dishevelled hair and unbuttoned tops, bands such as Black Flag, Dead Kennedys and Fugazi will never reach the Kooks level of acclaim even if they did start singing about 'the safety pins holding up what make you mine' over 'sophisticated' organs and mournful acoustic picking before launching into that well known talent of the Kooks of repeating the title of the song and calling it the chorus.
