What a pleasant surprise to get some new material from David Morley. The Belgian electronic maverick has been putting out records since 1992 on labels like R&S and its offshoot Apollo. Those were some glorious days for ambient techno music. A real golden era with other like minded Belgian producers like Robert Liner making some timeless classics. He's been a frequent collaborator with Andrea Parker too. 'Ghosts' is his first release in something like 5 years. He's one of those producers whose release schedule remains sparse but you can always be assured of the quality. 'Ghosts' is no exception... a 9 track journey into a magical world with some gorgeous synthesizer sounds and loads of feeling and imagination injected into the compositions.
