What the label says:

2008 is rapidly starting to look like the Year Of The Pier. Following the amazing response to their last single,’ The Bears Are Coming’ (released on Late Of The Pier’s own Zarcorp label), the Castle Donington quartet return with a new AA-sided single featuring ‘Space And The Woods’ and ‘Focker’.

‘Space And The Woods’ is the track that originally kicked everything off for Late Of The Pier, thrilling crowds since its original 7”-only release on Way Out Records in May last year. This brand new version of the track is co-produced by Erol Alkan and Late Of The Pier. Equally thrilling is brand new track ‘Focker’ – recorded during the same sessions with Erol, it’s set to join previous singles ‘Bathroom Gurgle’ and ‘The Bears Are Coming’ as a new dancefloor classic-in-the-making.

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
