Infadels - Universe in Reverse

Universe in Reverse by Infadels

Infadels are back. Two years on from their acclaimed debut, ‘We Are Not The Infadels’, new album, ‘Universe In Reverse’ is the band’s Youth produced crossover masterpiece. Bursting with energy, huge guitar melodies and hooks in abundance, it is, in short, the definitive Infadels record and potentially a huge crossover album.
‘Universe In Reverse’ is an album packed with soon-to-be hits reflecting the band’s heady year and a half on tour, where they were able to discover the sounds that they would grow to become a re-imagining of the new Infadels sound. Produced by Youth (Verve, Guns n Roses), and perfected by the mixing skills of ever dependable Cenzo Townshend (Bloc Party, Pigeon Detectives, Reverend & The Makers), this is a dynamic ten tracker of lyrically insightful everyman pop.
The first single ‘Make Mistakes’ was playlisted on Radio 1, 6 Music and XFM and the video playlisted on NME TV, Q TV, The Box and MTV2. As with many tracks on the album, it’s geared around a catchy-as-hell chorus. Current single is the anthemic, feel-good ‘Free Things For Poor People’, which began life as a T-shirt slogan conceived by keyboardist Richie Vermin. With a big chance of becoming a summertime chart-topper, it bounds along radiating positivity. Live it’s already a firm favourite with its huge sing along melody and is already gaining strong support at radio and TV
