Cage The Elephant - Ain't No Rest For The Wicked

Hotly tipped as this summer's most essential breaking artist, Kentucky quartet Cage The Elephant follow their Edith Bowman 'Single of the Week' debut 'In One Ear' with the release of their second single 'Ain't No Rest For The Wicked'.  An 18-rated morality tale underpinned by thunderous funk grooves and good ol' fashioned snarling attitude, 'Ain't No Rest…' is already B-listed at Radio 1 where it has been a Jo Whiley 'Pet Sound'.  The single demonstrates that Cage The Elephant's electrifying rock 'n' roll hints at true greatness.  Having recently relocated to London, the band are on tour in May / June and their incendiary live shows have graced the road alongside a diverse selection of bands led by Queens of the Stone Age as well as bands including Pigeon Detectives, Foals, The Subways and Simple Plan.  CD includes radio version and acoustic version, while the 7" includes an alternate mix and a cover of the Talking Heads track 'Psycho Killer'.
