Oh god as if you lot need some more Richter/Chauveux/Eluvium style neo-classical beauty then along come the irrepressible Library Tapes with 'Fragment' a perfect 8 movement distillation of their crackly field recordings, graceful chamber moods and heartbreaking piano pieces. There's some mournful but incredibly moving chords on this album, a real gem of an album. The last fragment is the most touching, somnolent & hopeful at the same time, like the purest, emotive sound I could wish for at 11pm!
