Hey the other day a hedgehog came up to me in my back garden. It was the closest I have ever been to a hedgehog in my life. It was a very special time... I digress and am going to write some words about Erik Levander's 'Kondens' CD on Rumraket. He's got everything but the kitchen sink in here: Computers, guitars, clarinet, oud, voice, harmonica, harmonium, vibraphone, tape recorder, radios, saw (!), function generator, piano and percussion. If that all sounds a bit hectic then actually it's the opposite. each tool is used sparsely, just enough to say what it needs to. It actually sounds really intriguing. Everything is kind of glitched up so to speak. The mood is a little dark but there are pretty sounds too. Interesting stuff.
