This here Sennen CD 'Where The Light Gets In' sounds like a pretty solid proposition. Well executed tracks that have a deeper indie rock thing happening. Simultaneously fuzzy and polished with some scratchy guitars and dramatic post rock arrangements. Bits of piano thrown in. I reckon Phil will dig this but he can't hear it as I've got headphones on. There was one bit that reminded me of Christmas. I love Christmas me... only 6 months to go..

What their label says...

‘Incredible second album from Norwich’s finest noise-mongers. Includes plenty of those things most post-rockers forget about – tunes.’ NME

‘The record sparkles with life from start to finish, something so seldom achieved.’ Alternative Ulster

‘Norfolk quartet Sennen bring out all those late ‘80s indie elements delivered with conviction and has all the widescreen sweep of big, bleak Norfolk skies and some very pretty tunes.’ 8/10 Word

‘This will make grown shoegazers weep their plimsols into a puddly mess. It will lift you into the clouds then gently set you down again. Maxim

‘If their upwards trajectory continues with their ‘Where the light gets in’ album then they could turn out to be the best thing to come out of Norwich since Alan Partridge.’ Rocksound
