The Pigeon Detectives are massive these days. How did a band called the Pigeon Detectives get big? It's such a ridiculous name.....Come to think of it the Arctic Monkeys have a ridiculous name......makes me think there's hope for Anal Cunt. Well the pigeons make some big ass stadium indie which will have you thrusting your pint sunwards, mouth wider than the Thames ready to chant along to some anthemic shouty indie guitar tunes. Hey you know what they sound like by now and his is more of the same. 'Emergency' is here now on CD so far and vinyl to come...

What their label says...

Follow up to top 3 debut ‘Wait For Me’ which sold over 300,000 copies in the UK going Platinum.
The Pigeon Detectives have sold over 70,000 tickets for their May / June tour including two nights at Leeds Millennium Square playing to 14,000 people.    The lead single ‘This Is An Emergency’ is already B-Listed on Radio One and was Scott Mills Single Of The Week when he stood in for Chris Moyles.     The Pigeon Detectives are main support to headliners The Prodigy at this years V Festival.
Produced by Stephen Street, ‘Emergency’ sees the band take on a more grown up and polished sound without breaking away too much from the tunes that made them the biggest selling debut act on an independent label in 2007.
