Drawing on classic reference points (Italo Disco, Depeche Mode, Talking Heads) but with a fresh sound that is very much his own, Christopher D Ashley’s music is understated but incredibly melodic. Thoughout 2007, Christopher was championed by renowned producer Keith Tenniswood (Radioactive Man / Two Lone Swordsmen) who has since joined Chris’ four piece live band line up for 2008. This release will benefit hugely from shared marketing opportunities with Keith’s own high profile album (the first artist album to be released on Fabric Recordings), both with similar release dates and combined tour dates.
Christopher’s genre-blending sound will crossover from dance to indie markets, and his excellent songwriting will win him many more discerning fans.
