DJ Rubbish is usually good for a laugh. Mixing up ludicrous samples with a comedy approach similar to that of cohort Cassetteboy, he busts out some genuinely hilarious raps sometimes with a political agenda and at others he's just being very silly. Fans of Pitman should check this out. It's not all comedy though as he's not a bad rapper at all and some of the tunes are decent. A man who's not afraid to speak his mind, which I like. He's a bit like a mental UK answer to Kool Keith. I myself fancy a career manipulating the essence all my mates into one big bout of whiffy audio flatulence then ranting in a regional accent about selling live snakes in the deli at Tescos. 'Armageddon Session Vol. 2' is out on Barry's Bootlegs, CD only.

What their label says...

In what might well become hailed as his most shocking, inaccurate and anachronistic album release to date, Shaun Pubis (AKA DJ Rubbish) steps into the sweaty hip hop ring and goes toe to toe with the end of the world itself.
Packing a mighty musical punch, this is high-octane tragic UK-doom-core uneasy-listening rap at its very best.
Stabbing in the dark for credibility like a real blind man, Pubis has somehow ensnared the production talents of Luke Vibert, Cassetteboy, Damian Taylor and The Elementz, among others. So unlike its shady predecessor, Armageddon Session Vol. II is fully legit and legal. At least it was, until Shaun started slandering Martine McCutcheon and Steffi Graf
(and advocating fare evasion on London buses).
lIn a desperate bid for more credibility (record sales), Rubbish has teamed up with wanted political exile ’Barry’ from Barry’s Bootlegs - home of Cassetteboy - for this unprecedented and poorly conceived joint label release.
Armageddon Session Vol. II - Live From The Bunker is near on an hour of life you’ll never get back. Hold on to your face.

- 9/10 IN DJ: "THIS HOUR LONG SLICE OF PURE RUBBISH IS NOT TO BE MISSED."
