Infadels are back. Two years on from their acclaimed debut, 'We Are Not The Infadels', new single, ‘Make Mistakes’ is the first cut to be lifted from the band’s masterpiece new album ‘Universe In Reverse’ and signals a galvanizing of the bands sound made bigger and bolder with production giant Youth at the helm (U2, Snow Patrol, Bloc Party) and mixed by radio-don Cenzo Townsend (Kaiser Chiefs, Editors, Pigeon Detectives). 'Make Mistakes' is a lean, mean indie rocker and as bold an opening statement as you could hope for, with thrashing guitars at the core of its pop-tune mastery and all geared around a catchy-as-hell chorus with a refrain “We all make mistakes from time to time” which most everyone can relate to.
Released across three formats each is backed with a new Infadels track or version. ‘Black Eyes and Love Bites’, ‘Black Days Away’, Infadels ‘Make Mistakes remix’ and a Phonebox Vandels Inc. version which is their own quasi-acoustic, Casio accompanied rework of ‘Make Mistakes’.
