The last time I checked summat by Teamforest it was a 7' on the increasingly stale Morr (less?) music of Germany. It didn't really move me, I recall, but had a groovy sleeve. However I'm proper enjoying 'Leave' on Eglantine records, a digipak CD whose neatly placed 10 tunes supply a playful, yet wistful vibe, mixing subtle electronic-coated pop with shiny, understated chiming guitars & airy rhythms. It's a clean, organic album with some lovely sounds & textures. Quite twinkly & dreamy & rather European. I can hear a lot of bands I've liked over the years in these spacey grooves, everyone from Notwist to Eggs touching on Radial Spangle & even Hood. There. That's sold a boatload hahaha! A serious surprise. I like the way every track title begins with 'Leave....' too! and it doesn't overstay it's welcome, weighing in at around 33 mins. Lovely!
