As part of the 21 MG Series is a three inch CD from Brian Grainger. Pill- A2 entitled 'In a Silver Marsh' (SSR) continues the latest vogue for all things droning, extended, developing and enveloping. Countering the noisy sound editions reviewed elsewhere on this page, this comes as a welcome antidote to the ear splitting noise. This is one long piece that's rooted in the lower end register of the sound field, hovering and glowing as it proceeds to dampen then lift the intoxicating mood. Probably limited in edition, this is just one of a series (there's B2, D2 and E2) won't be around very long as the quality is of a good standard.
