Speaking of that Milieu guy here he is as himself (Brian Grainger) on another shiny CD. 'Silver Surfaces Washed White' is part of a series on Installation records. Anyone into Milieu will recognise his playful bouncyness.... Not on this CD you won't though. You wanna know why?? 'Cos it's fuck evil sounding.... dark fuzzy rumbles which sound like a microphone is sat right under a really long avalanche....Weird radio and TV interference and darkness.... is taking over the room.... My daughter is well into this but the small ones do like a bit of white noise here and there. I reckon Ant will be browning himself over this mother.

What their label says...
Second in the Installation series, Brian Grainger visits uncomfortably loud territory on Silver Surfaces Washed White. Thick masses of white noise and analog feedback form long, monochromatic clusters of crumbling sound. Initially sourced from cassettes of various abstract pieces Brian recorded for the Sun-Day boxset, these are the remnants of a completely corrosive musical process that is as fascinating as it is unsettling. Best when played at high volume! Limited to 50 copies.
