Sonic Boom , leader of Spacemen 3 and Spectrum has remixed "Frozen" and "David Hero" from Insect Guide's debut album , "6ft In Love". Fresh from co writing and mixing with Dean and Britta , Fuxa , Magnetophone and the legendary Jim Dickinson (Big Star/Dylan) Sonic turns his sublime and distinctive style to The Insect Guide. The release continues on from a great 2007 for the band.Uncut named "6ft In Love" as one of the debut albums of the month , the band's version of Dinosaur Jnr's "Freak Scene" was described by the NME as "an amazing cover , slowed down and pumped full of mogadon" , and Steve Lamacq regularly played the track "Liline" on his Radio 6 show. Each of these extremely limited edition CD singles are individually numbered on the disc itself , and also on the special collectors printed sleeves.
