We got a CD ep by The Reverse called My Lifelong Psychological Experiment. This band feature the lovely Joe Morris, former bassist in frenetic jangle-core merchants Sarandon. They're a much mellower but equally life affirming bunch. The title track weighs in somewhere between Coldplay & early Pulp with some spine tingling chord progressions & finely interwoven guitar lines. I could imagine tapping my foot to this on the radio with it's subtle yet rousing chorus. All 4 tracks are good classic sounding semi-acoustic guitar pop that sounds quite stately & passionately executed. There's a great deal to praise here, accomplished songwriting & top tunes with a satisfying amount of variety in styles. Great!
