Apillow: 'Leaves Winter Alone' e.p (TQA) Four track extended player for fans of the acoustic/synthetic hybrid of labels like Moteer etc...gentle strokings of piano and quiet-ish strums of guitar woven into warm percussive fills. Seasonal-as in autumn, cinematic-as in wide open spaces and staring into the distance melancholy in mood. This is a limited edition of 200 housed in a hand printed cardboard sleeve. It's warm and friendly as opposed to cold and at arms length. If you like Weschel Garland of Karaoke Kalk fame, or Harold Budd-sez Mr Phil, then you'll like these emotional brush strokes.

What their label says...
Apillow has released two separate songs on two Emoragei/Where Are My Records compilations “Je l’ai fait pour toi” and “Under e Snow”. On his first official release, “Leaves Winter Alone”, Apillow carves and crafts four tracks out of the glacial silence, tinkers on an old lonely piano, gently scratches his guitar and processes it through airy effects and mixes it all up with computer-generated percussions to create imaginative and complex build-ups within the minimalism realm. Much like those of Below e Sea, Apillow’s compositions have these very cinematic and melancholic qualities to them, while being light, sunny and upbeat. is could be your perfect soundtrack for the current autumnal season and you'd wish it’d never ends.
