First up is a 10 track collection from one Laurent Girard aka Melodium: 'Vilnius' (self released), comes housed in one of those pop-up cases with images of some austere looking architecture. What we get inside are some brief vignettes in the mode of bedroom electronica. Highly melodic, maybe erring on the side of the more melancholic strains familiar to fans of Active Suspension for whom he has recorded. All the track titles seem to be named after various European cities bar the final track which is cover of Mazzy Star's 'I've Been Let Down'. Short Sweet and just enough to satisfy fans of blue mood tones.
