First up is the Chow Chow 'Colors & Lines' CD on Fantastic Plastic. I heard that the singer/ guitarist died recently which is obviously a tragic thing. Still I'm sure he'd be pleased to know the album would be released posthumously. Even if I didn't like this I'd feel bad kicking it cos he's dead. Weird one that. Well fortunately Fantastic Plastic releases are of reasonably high quality and this is some more pounding indie rock for you. Hints of Placebo and Pixies and other bands I can't think of right now. Hey it's nothing new but it's competent solid indie rock. Sturdy like an ox.
