You could almost say that Kettel makes true 'Acid Jazz' as on his latest long player he wanders off into electronic jazz territory and he's not afraid to get his 303 out.'Whisper Me Wishes' has all the soulful melody you'd expect from a Kettel album but there are some surprises in store. He wanders into neo-classical territory and back into hip hop mode. It's a fine example of an artist pushing themselves musically and successfully pulling it off. In printed red jewel case on Dub.

This is a brand new selection of earlier tracks and new recordings from Reimer Eising aka Kettel. ‘Whisper Me Wishes’ is a brilliant collection which could be called modern electronica... but Kettel takes things a couple steps further by producing a close approximation of “classical” music (real instruments!!) combined with contemporary electronics. Displaying a seemingly effortless construction of lush rhythms and emotional melodies amid layers of incredible warm sounds, one could no longer describe this music as simply “electronic”, with influences and ideas far beyond any easy generic constraints.
